The MJHS Beta Club recently participated in many areas at the State Convention in Hot Springs. The club received twenty-five awards, securing the rights to compete at the National Beta Convention this summer. We are so proud of our students, and are grateful for our parent volunteers, and our hard working sponsors. #devilpups #timetoshine

Due to the current road conditions and the forecast for additional freezing precipitation tonight the SCCSD will cancel classes for Thursday (2/2) for the safety of our scholars and staff.

Feb. 1st Calendar of Events:
AMI Day 3 tomorrow Feb. 1st. No onsite learning. Students may connect with their teachers to ask questions via email, Google Classroom, and Zoom.
Due to the current road conditions and for the safety of our scholars and staff, The SCCSD will cancel classes for Wednesday (2/1/23). It will be an AMI day for students and staff.
The SCCSD is also watching the forecast for Wednesday evening. The forecast is for additional winter precipitation. We will make a decision regarding Thursday as soon as we have more information.

Jan. 31st Calendar of Events:
SCCSD will be closed tomorrow January 31st to onsite learning due to the unpredictable nature of ice & out of an abundance of caution for our students, families, and staff. Please reach out to your teachers via Google Classroom and/or email for any questions on AMI assignments.
Conway County is in an Ice Storm Warning. Due to the unpredictable nature of ice and out of an abundance of caution for our students, our students’ families, and our staff the SCCSD will use an AMI Day and be closed to onsite learning on Tuesday, January 31st.
Due to the forecast of ice and the unpredictability of the impact on travel, the SCCSD will release early today, Monday, Jan. 30th at 2:00 p.m.

The SCCSD will resume classes on Thursday, 1/26. Bus 77 will not run up on Petit Jean Mt. tomorrow morning. The bus will meet parents at the base of the mountain between 6:40 - 7:00 a.m. Bus 77 parents should evaluate their roads conditions and determine what is safe for their family. The SCCSD will understand if some students on bus 77 are not able to attend due to hazardous road conditions.
Thank you to the SCCSD bus drivers for safely transporting our students home during the unexpected snow storm at the end of the school day!
