👷♀️ Hands-on learning in action!
Students in Mrs. Prather’s Exploration of Skilled Trades classes recently practiced hammering 🔨nails into a board, building confidence with basic hand tools. Before getting started, everyone geared up with required personal protective equipment—including safety👓 glasses—to create a safe learning environment.
As they worked, students focused on proper hammering technique, tool control, & awareness of their surroundings. This activity offered a real-world introduction to trade skills while reinforcing the importance of safety on the job.

👷♀️🔧 Hands-On Learning in Action! 👷♂️In Mrs. Prather’s Exploration of Skilled Trades class, students took learning to the next level—literally! While strapped into drywall stilts, they cautiously tested their balance, turning shaky first steps into confident strides across the classroom floor.
With guidance from Mrs. Prather & support from classmates, this immersive experience gave students a real-world look at how specialized equipment boosts efficiency in the finishing trades. What started as a lesson on elevation quickly became an exciting, hands-on success! 👏
