Today is World Kindness Day and we have some of the kindest students at MJHS. Two of these students were honored today for showing acts of kindness to their peers. Congrats to Jakenzie Halcromb and De'Leshaun Jarrett for being nominated by their teachers.#bekind#worldkindnessday

MJHS American History and Art classes had the honor to listen to the experiences of two veterans Mr. Hobbs and Mr. Arnold. We would like to thank both of these men and the countless others who have served our country. Happy Veteran's Day!
November 10th Calendar of Events:
Students at Morrilton Junior High School were able to honor nearly 60 Veterans on our Wall of Honor and we sent over 50 cards to active duty service members who are stationed overseas. #veterans#LSC#community

Phone service has been restored for the South Conway County School District.
Morrilton Junior School is conducting a Lockdown drill. This is ONLY a drill. No other schools are conducting a drill today. Everything at the Junior High is business as usual.
Morrilton High School is conducting a lockdown drill this morning on 11/7/23. This only drill.
No other schools are conducting lockdown drills today.
Currently the entire phone system for the South Conway County School District is not working due to a server crash. The phone vendor is working to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

Congratulations Luke Carner for being named one of the Youth Citizens of the Year by the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce.
Students shown are investigating the various parts of the eyes including the pupil, iris, cornea, optic nerve, and retina in Coach Ferguson's health classes. They used candy eyeballs to connect a complex model to a simpler representation. #devilpups#yeswecan
