The Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has announced that Morrilton High School is among the top 10 percent of public schools in Arkansas recognized for outstanding academic growth and high school graduation rates. This prestigious recognition comes as part of the Arkansas School Recognition Program, which honors schools achieving exceptional outcomes in student academic achievement and growth.
Morrilton High School’s success is based on student assessment results from the 2023-2024 school year and the graduation rate from the 2022-2023 school year. The school’s commitment to excellence in education, paired with the dedication of its educators, students, and families, has led to this notable achievement.
“Morrilton High School’s recognition is a testament to the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the unwavering support of our community,” said Shawn Halbrook, Superintendent of the South Conway County School District. “This honor reflects our shared vision of maximizing the safety, learning, and achievement of every scholar today.”
